Indiana Children’s Special Health Care Services: Provides supplemental medical coverage for treatment of serious, chronic medical conditions, including autism, for children birth through 21 years who meet financial and medical criteria.

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments for Children with Disabilities: SSI makes monthly payments to people with low income and limited resources who are blind, disabled, or over age 65. Children under age 18 may qualify if they meet Social Security’s definition of disability for children and if family income and resources fall within the eligibility limits.
