Child & Adolescent Therapy
Dr. Jones is collaborative in her approach to therapy, and she will meet with you and your child to learn more about your concerns and the difficulty that your child is experiencing. Based on your concerns, Dr. Jones will work with you and your family to determine a treatment plan that may include ongoing individual therapy. Any therapy will include a strong parental component in order to ensure the transfer of skills outside of the therapy setting. Therapy can help your child increase coping strategies, self-esteem, and positive peer interactions in addition to decreasing anxiety and emotional dysregulation. Therapy can also assist your child in addressing behavioral difficulties or ADHD-related characteristics, such as inattention, impulsivity, or hyperactivity.
